I knew my grandfather made these blocks (I've always been told the Mentz town barn on S. Main Street was made from them). They imitate cut stone with a curved front.

What I didn't know was how long he made them. My father, born in 1925, remembered helping to form these blocks using a mold. Earl must have made them for over 20 years.
